Scuba diving is as close as I’ll ever get to being in outer space: weightless, peaceful, … the awe of experiencing a completely different and fantastic world!
I started diving when I was 16, certified ACUC and NAUI for mostly warm water diving. When I joined CANSAC in 2015, this kind group helped me refresh my skills and introduced me the thrill of wreck diving. I am an advanced diver with dry suit training now. I very much enjoy the comradery of this club.
My favorite dives are the Tobermory weekends at the Trail’s End Lodge, Georgian Bay at Penetanguishene, all the great spots in Lake Ontario (Tiller, Kingston and Picton wrecks), and the absolute joy of going solo at Lake Clear to swim with my friendly bass.
I hope to expand my scuba experiences to other places in the world. Cozumel was great. Next up … Red Sea.
Let’s go diving!
